She didn't trust me to gain custody so in order to see my kids she sided with my ex.
One way was that I would lose scheduled hours from seeing my kids after long court cases but during hours when the ex was working. She was using my mother to watch the kids.

But why fight over custody to begin with?
Why wouldn't your ex want you to see the children every now and then?
I can't imagine divorcing and then being prevented from seeing the children unless out of spite.
Where there any red flags before that?
I always assumed that my child s mother would still want me to see the children. As long as they are safe with me.
