Germ theory is widely accepted, but ever since covid1984 came around I've been hearing about terrain theory. Is terrain theory woo psudoscience or is there something more to it?

Why not both. We live too sterile. The soaps and cleaners are too strong.

Look at mexico where the water sucks but the locals can drink it. The body will adapt and get stronger if its allowed to fight for itself. Everyone want an instant fix tho, be it sterilizing or drugs to combat.

In my understanding most cleaners kill a lot of pathogens, but not all; thus, biologically selectivity breeding stronger, more resilient pathogens.

I believe bleach in proper concentration kills them all.

I wonder if foreigners get sick when they come to the us, from unfamiliar pathogens?

Can they drink the water though with no affect? I hear those amoebas are hell to rid the body of. Seems a lot other things are drank instead, like tequila, beer, etc. Also, I’ve spend a lot of time down there and have seen many a large bottle of water being shouldered down the road.
