I do not listen to him but did years ago. I could use information and discussion on homesteading from someone actually doing it. Does anyone know good sites or channels discussing building and running a homestead, building and raising a family, etc? I don't necessarily care if they are in the know about certain 'conspiracy theories' but that is always a plus. Can't stand listening to owen but want some info and preferably from someone more successful at it that him, less grift, and less ego.

Have you found a lot of success convincing people to reconsider their views on earth shape using the insulting and aggressive approach you appeared to just use? Or was that more a result of feeling frustrated that others don’t see out the same way as you?

I’m likely in agreement with you to a degree regarding earth shape. I’ve decided that I don’t actually know what the earth looks like because I’ve never personally been far enough away to see any apparent shape. But I’ve seemed to notice that the aggressive nature of the discussion doesn’t result in many changed minds.

But that just might be what I’ve noticed.

I agree with you that there does not seem to be any uncontroversial evidence the body we live on is spherical in nature.

I think it's probably closer to flat than anything else. And probably a bit magical. =)
