I wouldn’t call this a big win. The federal employees, and federal contractors mandate is still in place, as well as a big loss for medical personnel. Fucking Roberts and Kavenaugh. May god have retribution on their souls.

Not a win, just politics. The SCOTUS fears the Court of Public Opinion more than it cares about the law, otherwise it would have been a 9-0 with complete abolition for the abomination it is.

It's not a win at all. This is a controlled de-escalation. Policy makers saw the blood rising and knew they had to back off in order to keep the general sentiment from boiling over.

Win? Did you miss the part where they made executive fiat appropriate depending on what your job is? ANY MANDATES are unconstitutional and this opens the door for the slow creep of complete control. Where in the constitution can you find anything that remotely gives one man , or one administration or entity the power over your body , and what you choose to put in it. MANDATES ARE NOT LAWS. WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE A NATION OF LAWS. Congress is the body that makes the laws. Even if Congress made a law to force vaccinate Americans I highly doubt it would be constitutional. WHAT JOB OR JOBS WILL BE NEXT MADE TO COMPLY WITH A DICTATORIAL ORDER?
