Democrats have been doing it for longer. Also tribalism. Whatever Republicans offer MOST blacks are Democrats, and their POWER is through the Democrat apparatus. Donald Trump was largely unsuccessful at buying himself votes. In fact, the platinum plan may have cost him white votes.
I can't say you're wrong in what you've written, but my point is how the parties are reacting NOW, not who virtually all the nigs are voting for.
