So you think the name Lucifer (Light-bearer; Light-bringer) can be applied to a creature of darkness and ignorance? How is that? Why would anyone name a demon of the Pit the Light-bringer? Does that make any sense to you?

He wasn't always the adversary; at one time he served God.

Sort of like Judas. Jesus didn't call him Judas the Traitor when he called him as one of the twelve. But that's how he ended up. Could've been an apostle with all the benefits.
