I was raised to believe those are just different names for the same thing.

I don't think it matters. We should start calling it, "Satan the god of Jews.".

I know once you start reading up on the mythology, demonology probably has them as separate things. Like, moloch, baphemet, lilith, ect. They are just stories in a book.

Lucifer is just Latin for "light bringer" (something that idiots often point to in the Catholic blessing of the candle at Easter, because the candle is referred to as the "light bringer"... because that's what candles do) because he was the most beautiful of God's creations until he pissed it all away and fell from Grace.

Satan and the Devil are the same being. The name Lucifer is supposedly the name of Satan when he was an archangel. But I guess Lucifer was a mistranslation from Isaiah 14:12, which is supposed to refer to the king of Babylon and Satan. The following sound more like Satan than a king:

• he falls from heaven (verse 12) • he is cast down to the earth (verse 12) • he had destroyed nations (verse 12) • he sought to ascend to God’s throne (verse 13) • he desired to be like the Most High (verse 14) • he is relegated to the lowest part of the Pit (verse 15)

Still there is only one adversary/Satan/Devil/Lucifer/Day Star/Shining One.

From what I had gathered, Lucifer was a fallen Angel and the name translates to 'Light bringer', FWIW. I always figured he became the devil afterwards. Had his own sweet crib called hell :) He was kinda pissed because God dropped his ass for criticizing. Understandable, to a certain degree.

How much of all this is lore and how much reality is anyone's guess.

I was taught by a nut in this field that Satan is derived from from a word that means 'against', and Satan isn't a being but a word to describe ANYTHING 'against'. Like this website is Satanic for globalists/bankers/the 0.0001%, I'm Satan for vaxxers, etc.

This is how it was explained to me, and this dude has sleeves of gnostic teachings, Lucifer, masonic shit, and DMT. He by no means is immoral or malicious, he states Lucifer is painted in a poor light by those in power, making people think it was their idea to ate Lucifer.

He claims Rastafarians and Jesus are Luciferian, as anything that teaches others is light alchemy/white magik (with a K), and anything that harms others is dark alchemy/black majik. Satan is not a person, deity, or angel, but just a word that's used to describe anything 'against'. Lucifer is a fallen angel, the bringer of light, the giver of consciousness. I gotta admit I was triggered when he told me all this shit, but I can't find anything (besides this thread) contrary to his claims.

He also says there are good and bad masonic lodges, they're not all controlled.

I used to, but I'm starting to become unsure. he Bible says Satan/the adversary can appear as an angel of light, but it's not saying there is one angel of light. Satan/the adversary is mentioned several times in the Bible, but the reference to Lucifer as a fallen being is actually directed to a king of Babylon. That was then linked to ("I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven" (Luke 10).

In  2 Corinthians 6:15, Paul asks: What concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? In the dead sea scrolls, Belial was the leader of angels of darkness against God and his angels of light. He's sometimes mentioned In occult literature as corrupting Lucifer, being Lucifer's dad, or being the second angel. I mention that because perhaps at one point Belial was seen as the primary Satan.

I suspect neither Lucifer or Belial are the real identity of Satan and most Satanic cults pray to Lucifer as yet another layer of mystery. The higher-ups of the cults might know the truth, but I doubt regular people ever will until Christ throws him into The Lake of Fire.

No, they are different. Lucifer or light bringer is mentioning Solomon. Satan or HaSatan is a title meaning the adversary. Theologians gave God a title "Lord" which is Ba'al in hebrew, and gave Hasatan and name, satan. In the orginal Hebrew God's name was YAHW or Jeovah. So no, they arent the same.

One way is to go to whatonearthishappening.com click on ark, follow the instructions and send mark a 2tb external hard drive and wait.
