I'm cleared, but that ties me down to a physical location. Any post I've looked at which mentions clearance is on site or only partial telework.

Try clearancejobs if you haven't yet. I see remote all the time, but I have no idea specifically what you'd be looking for. Usajobs too, but that will require going govie and avoiding the mandate will most likely not be possible but the post im working has a handfuls of govies flying under the Vax radar and I pull for em to make it through everyday. I hope all the best for you, man.

Due to the lack of willingness of them to install a SIPR fiber drop in my house, I haven't checked clearancejobs in a while. If they're offering more remote I'll have to check it out again.

As for what I'm looking for... I'm a RHEL guy. Or any Linux really, but most of my experience is with RHEL. Add a hefty portion of security, mix it all together with automation, and that's the recipe for my skillset.

That kinda drop would be a blessing and a curse, haha. Im sorry to hear you're having this trouble, man, I have been privy to opposite, but the post is making their move. We already have to carry papers stating our Vax status and be prepared to present them anytime we are challenged by a govie. The testing is next and that's gonna be 150 bones a week out-of-pocket. Undue hardships by this regime.

With a rhel background i wonder if grabbing up something aws would be possible. Anything with Chef, puppet, ansible, terraform - IaC is big everywhere.
