Contracting has had about an 80% rate of offering/honoring accommodation exemption, this isn't everywhere of course, and this has been my experience. Thus far I haven't had any issues but things could change. If you have a clearance there are options, some remote, on-prem for certian, but in reality, it may be time to move to another state.
I need the job to move. See, I want to buy a house, and the lenders won't lend if I don't already have employment there. Where I want to move doesn't really do IT... ever. So it has to be remote.
check out stackoverflow. always remote jobs listed there....
I get it. LI does have a remote job scan option as well as hybrid. I also screen Indeed and Glassdoor with the same parameters. Dice is more tuned to IT, might be worth a try; Zip Recruiter also. If you do have a clearance, there are option specific to that as well.
I'm cleared, but that ties me down to a physical location. Any post I've looked at which mentions clearance is on site or only partial telework.
Yeah, I would put together a one page, or less note explaining why you have a religious (or medical) exception to vaccines, and would require an accommodation. Send it with your resume. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take, right? (Pun intended)
That's not a bad idea but maybe better not mentioning it. Make them waste their time trying to get a great White employee only to be shot down because of their bullshit. Make them suffer.
