Uk here, their tv adverts here were asking people for a mere 19gbp donation, most others advertising for their charities were asking aroubd 3gbp a month to bring drinking water to the blacks in Africa, i have given nothing to either.
I wont ever give to them again and made sure my friends were aware of tge issue with them, fuck em.

How were you able to see adverts without a tv loisense?
Actually i really dont watch tv, havent since 2012. My wife does watch it however and there are times when obviously i am in the same room when tv is on, shock horror.
As for the tv licence, my wife is giving up watching when our current one runs out, even she has had it with tv(yay), they keep sending reminders saying we are behind with our payments for later this year , even though our current licence is fully paid. Bit of an oxy moron but thats the bbc for you.
