Lol no he just wanted to know what we wanted, he talked through the (screen) door, wife answered (through the door) and went and got Roy. Stupid cousins lived near him in Apple Valley and we didn't believe them when they said they knew where he lived, so we dared them. He had NO security, couldn't believe it. It was almost midnight and the Manson murders were still fresh on people's minds and Roy lived relatively not far from the murder scene. He was nice ultimately and apologized for the gun (cause we was kids), said he was a sheriff, told us to visit his museum for free. We arrived and had the receptionist call his wife, that's when she apologized for him actually. Also had private convos with Laura Bush and Willie Nelson, my claims to fame.
