Well, let's say someone was innocent but both their parents has a disposition towards mental illness in the extreme. Even if not really extreme. Would you euthanize them, cut their throat? If I choose to believe every life is sacred then I shouldn't. But if I zoom out I might see it's not that important in a world of seven billion people and even really detrimental to society. How many babies would you kill to make a better world?
I certainly dont believe every life is sacred. And I would kill no babies to make a better world for the simple fact at that point the world deserves what it gets.
I think "deserves" is a human invention. Nobody deserves anything, it doesn't exist in nature.
The world gets what it should? Is that better?
