If you lived in a world were no outside opinions could intrude, could you decide for yourself what good and bad was? I know for sure my actions will be right, but how can I see them from any point of view other than my own. Maybe I have been wrong all along and I just can't see it.
I believe mine would be also, without a society or god I guess we have to rely on our own compassion. Could you cut someone who was innocents throat? Or could you cut someones throat who killed your wife?
Well, let's say someone was innocent but both their parents has a disposition towards mental illness in the extreme. Even if not really extreme. Would you euthanize them, cut their throat? If I choose to believe every life is sacred then I shouldn't. But if I zoom out I might see it's not that important in a world of seven billion people and even really detrimental to society. How many babies would you kill to make a better world?
I certainly dont believe every life is sacred. And I would kill no babies to make a better world for the simple fact at that point the world deserves what it gets.
