sorry if I triggered anyone with 1/6. After all the people that died that day I should've calculated the %
It's probably had zero maintenance
Beware the salvage title insurance battle
Like actual city impound lot? Or selling insurance totaled cars. The title will specify.
What about ex-cop cars? Are police auctions still going on? If so no more Crown Vics you got your pic of Chargers, Explorers and Suburbans.
Government has a property disposal auction. Lots of cars including government surplus vehicles. https://www.treasury.gov/auctions/treasury/
Drive around residential neighborhoods, look for cars that have been sitting, either next to the house or under a tree. Go to the door and knock. Ask if they would like to sell it.
Otherwise, your going to getting hammered.
You can do the auction thing, IF you got a stack of cash and know someone with a dealers license.
Also if previous owner has any priors or outstanding warrants the vehicle will get you stopped and harassed a lot.
We need more information to better assess.

Here is the Nissan in question
They put 3 phone numbers. Just call and see what other cars they have, right?
That Sentra is old enough not to have the shitty CVT transmission that newer ones have, so yeah I would be OK with that car.
Probably abused though, but if obtainable cheap enough, why not. Looks fine.
Car market is so hot you'll probably have to lower your expectations.
Apparently Facebook marketplace is the best place to get a decent deal.
I bought a mediocre beater a couple of months ago for ~7k. Has a/c though.
2009 nissan with 190k miles, needed some minor work mechanically, paint is like 6 out of 10, inside had to be professionally cleaned inside.
