I've been feeling very strange today.
Like I'm on the verge. It's a good feeling, I wouldn't call it ecstatic, but when I close my eyes, I start see again.
I closed my eyes for a moment on the train home and began to dream almost instantly. I thought entering that state was supposed to take some time, but it doesn't any longer.
And I keep on noticing odd things, things that have been there before, but I never saw.
Walking home from the train, down the only street that leads to my house, there is an old, faded DO NOT ENTER sign, despite the neighborhood being residential, and the street being two ways.
And I keep on closing my eyes, and it feels better that way. The less I watch, the more I see. It's peaceful, but peaceful Like how you can watch a fatal car accident, knowing that everyone involved was going to die anyway.
But the beans. And the cream of what.
Walking up to my house I had this horrific fear that something knew I was coming and would ambush me. I thought at first maybe my neighbors were going to confront me about all the fireworks I set off and whiskey I had drunk on New Years.
But it wasn't that at all
It was cream of wheat, and beans. In a generic plastic bag.
Sitting there.
Waiting for me.
Uninvited and unwanted and unpurchased and unexplainable.
And I took the bag inside.
A good vignette

This is what they think of me? They need me to hydrate my next meal? I'm poor enough to not afford water?

What kind of bean mix we talking here? If there's a bunch of Lima beans its a setup... I wouldn't trust a mix that's light on kidney beans or navy beans either.
