My son received an extra Christmas gift this year - Rubella (which honestly was not a big deal for him at all)

The issue is my little pregnant brain starts spinning and is armed with the knowledge that rubella causes a ton of birth defects especially first trimester and not everyone gets symptoms of rubella....

I got the MMR as a kid if that does anything (I know there was outbreak of the mumps awhile back of vaccinated kids at a college)

So what do you think Poal?

Should I start putting money away for a short bus?

Or is my brain spooking me for no reason?

I was born in 1978. I was vaccinated. I was forced to get the MMR booster at 17 for college. It gave me rubella. I hadn't been sick since I was 9 although I'd had a job interacting with the public since 14 and attended a public school. Rubella was nothing. The reactions to that vaccine and the rest were awful and life changing.
