Lately it seems like over half the posts that i see are just reposted over and over. the story about the insurance guy talking about the 40 percent uptick in deaths was posted like 47 times. can a warning or something maybe pop up when someone is posting something that has already been posted ? maybe a timeline thing like a small warning if its been posted in the last 24 hours and a bigger more serious warning if its been posted 9 times in the past 6 hours already? it is frustrating seeing the same content posted repeatedly. sometimes i think people literally scroll down the feed a couple hours till they see something interesting and then copy and paste it into a posting of their own. also, it sure would be nice if the requirement to block certain users was relaxed a bit. i have been on this site for awhile now but i mostly browse and don't post a lot so i have no points. i can't block users or content that i am not interested in seeing.

If the same story (same link) is posted within a certain amount of time, the site warns you. Stories from multiple sites don't trigger this warning.

No problem. There's not really an easy way to catch the same story from multiple sites.

You need to repost a bunch of stories until you are level 10. Then start a sub called Reposts. Then convince AOU to move all the reposts to your sub ( should not be hard, he likes doing stuff like that) once the repost is in your repost sub you can contain it.

I haven't noticed. I mean there's always a few here and there. I block a lot of subs that don't interest me though, that might cut down on them for me.

I upvoted you to help you get closer to block privileges, but you've got a long way to go. Main reason I don't get rid of my username that I don't like anymore is that means I have to deal with blocked people again.
