I honestly cannot stand the sight of another mask, or the mere mention of a fucking variant or vaccine. I need this shit to end for my own sanity.

My theory (false hope) is that after this winter we'll be Covid free for about a year (enough time to give dems a mid term boost) before the next major variant develops and we have to do it all over again.

I think the most depressing thing is the realisation that the majority of people will go along with this nonsense for years if they're told to, dragging the rest of us with them. Worthless cattle.

Is there a place, a country in the world to escape to? Please god bring me there

Due to "just in time" shipping, to reduce warehouse costs, the average American metropolitan area has about a three day supply of food.

Now mix that with a generation of people that have never known real live, bone-gnawing, hunger in their entire lives.

Americans are fatter than most, so starvation is not very likely. Many Americans can literally go a year with very few calories. A few vitamins, eat the cat, gnaw on some grass.

Perhaps. But history has demonstrated on many multiple occasions that it is a wonderful technique for radically, and rapidly, re-organizing any society along much simpler lines.

You either have food, or you don't. You either have sufficient force to take, or keep, the food, or you don't. You either live, or you die. Simple. See?
