Since I can't go indoor climbing or play sports anymore I'm losing my fitness.

I'm going to start jogging, but I need something to get some strength going.

I've never really done much aside from body weight stuff, pushups, pushups, squats, lunges etc.

I've got some kettlebells and space to do some bodyweight stuff.

Where's a good place to put some workout routines together and get info on proper form etc?

Or even easier for me, what's some good routines I can do 2-3 times a week?

Press ups Pull ups. Situps.

Don't jog too much as it will destroy your joints.

Swimming or cycling is way better

Yeah, usually cycle to work 3-4 times a week.

Winter sucks for cycling though. Swimming is out as well since most pools are.closed or vaxxed checking.

Also. Get an old pickup tire or a good size car tire. Juat throw it in your yard and drag it behind you when you run

It'd be nice to do that kind of working out, but the yard where I'm renting is all hillside rocky and garden beds.

Some day soon hopefully I'll have a real yard...still looking at buying.

I picked up the Quickfit poster set a while back, but it's hard to find outside of Amazon. also has a lot of good ones available.

I try and stay away from Amazon, but it sure isn't easy sometimes

Pilates is legit for body weight exercising.

How do you find it compares to yoga?

Honestly have not tried Pilates. I'll see what there is online for some workout vids.

You have anybyou.like?

Yoga feels like Pilates-lite but I never was very advanced. Most of the movements and stretches are similar if not outright the same. Im fairly certain the guy got his inspiration from the orient so they share an origion source.

Just get the german guy Pilates book, he's the guy who invented it.

If you enjoy it get a reform table and really get at it.

Play pickleball. It's huge and fun and you'll be on the courts for hours. 80 people in my courts today. Do pushups too. I powerlift and pickleball .

Nice, I usually try and do a random sport every other season...been eyeing up something a bit.more random and pickleball was one of em.

Once Sports start up again, I think I'll give it a go.
