I3 12100 £140, absolutely wipes the floor with all previous 4c / 8t chips, 12300 is barely any better.

I5 12600 is only £50 more than the 12400F at £230, the lower I5s don't cost enough less for losing the 4.8 Ghz boost clock.

£90 more for the top non K CPU, and it has the better integrated graphics until I can ever find a decent price RTX card for my main PC to move my 1080 Ti to this lounge PC. Also I wouldn't want to bother with needing to upgrade it any time soon.

I'm leaning towards the 12600, but there aren't any motherboards for it yet so I can wait a while. I also need NZXT to send me an alder lake mount for a 140mm AIO I already have.

Also H670 is better than B660 according to this?

Asrock are releasing an ITX H670 and they're usually the cheapest ones, so I will likely want that one.

Beefier. Eventually you'll want to do 4k from it. You'll want the 1080 and a beefier cpu.

It will already be with a 4K TV, but I would be using Steam link for anything high end to stream from the main PC.

12600 and then pass down my 1080 Ti so it can run as much as possible without ethernet latency.
