Your last point is flawed in that the creators of governments did not create them to protect citizens. Quite the opposite is true. If you think The Constitution was created to protect you... you are reading it incorrectly. It was designed to do the same thing religion does. The whole government book needs to be thrown out and the people better start learning how to govern themselves without it because that time is now here. Change is on the horizon.
