Not impossible, just seems pointless. Say a woman stayed home until her kids are all grown up when shes maybe 45. Starts college. Then what, starts a career at 50? 53? Why? She clearly had a man providing for her and her kids for a couple decades, and now they have a lower financial burden without the kids. But lets put a 50 something year old woman into the job market with a college degree. Brilliant. Totally money well spent. And no way would any women would abandon their kids to daycare while they go off to college, right? No way that would happen.
