Watching those gore videos taught me a few things about how various races/cultures handle execution/torture/lynchings.
Africans lynch the most. They will beat the condemned person with anything they can pick up, before piling rubber and other kindling (including motorcycles) on the barely conscious victim, before burning them alive. It's a frenzied, berserk fury.
Arabs seem to do it out of a sense of duty. Like it's "work", just another chore to be done.
Malaysians/southern Asian types behave remarkably like Africans.
But south Americans are by far the worst. They seem to have some practice of dismembering living victims- cutting their arms off before beheading or gutting them. And they seem to think it's fucking hilarious. That's probably what makes it so disturbing.
Wow. I knew the Aztecs did some crazy stuff, but I wonder (back then) if they were gleeful about it, cause it was supposedly a religious thing, child sacrifice, I dunno.
Absolutely. They would cut the heart out of a young virgin girl at the top of a stepped pyramid, to a cheering crowd, and then toss her body down the stairs as the crowd roared their approval.
Most people don't know just how disgusting native south American culture truly was. They had this sport, sort of like soccer combined with basketball and polo- the teams would work hard to become really skilled. Then, they'd have a match. THE WINNERS OF THE MATCH WERE THEN RITUALISTICALLY BEHEADED.
Yes, the winners. This displays how ingrained the notion of brutal sacrificial torture is in the culture of south America; men would play a very rough, hard game, and do their best to win.. for the honor of being butchered to an adoring crowd. Why not, idk, make them into the vanguard of a warrior unit, instead? Make them rush in naked to the enemy formation. They're clearly quite physically skilled if they won that game- they could be great shock troops and die in glorious battle... y'know... accomplishing something with their deaths, besides entertaining their savage relatives.
