I have felt like you are describing before. Disconnecting for like three days can be reinvigorating. The constant bombardment of sheer horror that we subject ourselves to by being inquisitive truth-seekers can take a toll on you. I remember, a few years back on old Voat, I went down a rabbit hole of gore videos. Binged like a hundred horrifying gore videos- can't explain why, morbid fascination I suppose?
It left me in this weird mental state. I felt... off. This feeling stuck with me for a while. I imagine what you're feeling is similar. Stop Boppin' online for two or three days, and then report back.

Yes, I have been down some of those rabbit holes.
My dad would always watch Dateline and stuff about murder.
My mom would have to watch it with him.
It affected her badly, she really really should not have gone along with him.
She was getting senile anyway, people are really stupid.

I was on "BestGore" and shit. Watching people being dismembered alive by savage south Americans. Worst one that will forever haunt me, was when the cartel kidnapped a Mexican cop and his teenaged son. They hacked the father's head off in front of the son, tormented him with it, then fastened him to the ground. Then they flayed the flesh off of his belly/chest. The sounds... and then the monster with the knife cuts a hole into the boy's chest, and literally pulls his heart out and makes him look at it. The boy lives for several seconds after his heart was torn out, before he finally passed out and died.
I saw many similar videos. This shit will haunt you. There was something about the sheer glee that south American savages take in this activity that makes it way worse. You watch Arabs beheading people or slitting throats, and it's not the same- it's like.... idk, they don't seem to enjoy it or find it funny, usually. It's just something that needs to be done. But cartel savages... that flaying I described took place not even 50 miles from our border.
