"COVID" is a cultural phenomenon of the western world. A mania not unlike the dancing sickness of centuries long past. Unfortunately for us, COVID and the hysteria surrounding it are the latest symptoms of societal problems that have plagued the western world for a century or more. There is no going back to 2019. I don't think people realize just how profoundly our society ruptured in 2020. The only viable path is to create something entirely new. Right now, and moving forward, we will experience a struggle between leftism and the reactionary right wing for who determines what that new society will look like. Regardless of who wins, we will all be less free and less prosperous on the other side. The road to that destination is also very likely to be extremely bloody and most will not come through unscathed. The only thing you as a Joe nobody can do is to prepare yourself as best you can physically, emotionally, and financially for what is to come. Build your family and do whatever is within your means and life circumstances to separate yourself from the poisonous "modern" society that currently dominates the western world.
