He was a paranoiac and sociopathic. As a person that makes him awful, but as a politician he was pretty skilled. If he could've reigned himself in enough not to do Watergate, he'd probably be remembered well since we usually remember powerful people for big accomplishments over horrid personalities. He has tons of things the mainstream could love like Title IX, the EPA, tribal self-determination for Amerindians, and lowering the voting age to 18. It's also funny that Nixon made the Asian census category thinking Indian-Americans would be grateful for the affirmative action.

On the bright side, he was for law and order, opened China to the US, eased Cold War tensions, and was possibly a better speaker than JFK (depending on how one interprets radio listeners thinking Nixon was better in the debates than the TV viewers seeing him sweat).

I used to think we're too focused on Watergate now, but during his lifetime post-Watergate his reputation made a pretty decent recovery and without Watergate he'd probably be remembered vaguely for being okay (or for lewd campaign slogans) and post-Great Awokening there'd be chatter about the Southern strategy vs his desegregation of schools and rights for Amerindians.

Didn’t Nixon put us in our current health insurance system?

Presidents have not had real power since FDR.

They're just actors playing on the stage, distracting the audience from what the Producers are responsible for.

Maybe Nixon figured this out and that's why he was removed

You are probably too young to remember the waste and sewage in our water. Lakes used to catch fire from solvents and oils and gas, fish by the thousands would wash up. Heard of Three Mile Island? GE used to dump their toxic waste everywhere. This wasn’t about some unknown species nobody heard of, corporations were poisoning us and our children.

Yes. He questioned judaism in a recorded phone call that was known. He was gotten rid of after that. His (((impeachment))) was all ((())) and no impeachment.

(((watergate))) was a jewish psyop and anyone who believes it's story as told is an absolute retard, the best kind of shabbos goy NPC.

I'd say that Reagan qualified as an outsider. And he adopted half of Nixon's Cabinet.

Ah yeah, Reagan. He had HW Bush though

Yeah, the Shadow Government's been running the USA since the end of WWII. We made the mistake of not completely disbanding the OSI and other military intelligence units. We also made the mistake of keeping a standing army and occupying foreign lands, all of which destroyed the fabric of the USA's original creed of independence and neutrality and free trade with all.

OSI and other military intelligence units.

The operational core of the treachery starts there.
