Maybe the better alternative would be an underground facility with a small surface dwelling. This way you could bottleneck the entrance/exit and keep security much more tight.

I mean I can have both with enough money. My idea is to dig a bunker under the castle. Deep underground. With a little train that leads to a cave under a hill. The castle would be on a hill top. All the forest around the perimeter is secured with multiple tools to prevent any break-in. Cohorts of drones, robots, dogs and of course all my tribe armed to the teeth
