When I browse, I split my time between Poal and Voat. I was on Voat for years until it disappeared, for about a year. I transferred to Ruqqus for a year until they banned a bunch of ‘hate’ threads I enjoyed. I left along with many others when they cracked down on ‘free speech, and then Ruqqus tanked. That policy killed them. Ruckus also hated on Poal and vice versa. Then Voat came back and I started going there again. Poal and Voat felt like they had the same clientele for awhile. You’ll get called a niggerfaggot on both sites. I like that. Poal feels like it’s slipping towards Reddit territory. People are tribal, they make up enemies.
