Why is there do much drama between this site and theirs? You agree on so much, so why the hate?

I just go to poal. Don't need two shitholes to frequent.

[–] 0 pt

I frequent both because they're both inhabited by the same exact retards.

That sounds like 's walkout music.

To actually answer your question, talk.lol was founded by a guy that dislikes Poal. A lot of talk.lol early users dodn't like Poal, and they blamed site outages on Poal until Dial Indicator bragged about it. Also, talk.lol has a softer stance on lolicon than Poal.

Lolicon is pornographic cartoons for pedophiles to jerk off to, it's child porn in drawn form, about children getting raped (BTW, sexual activity is ALWAYS rape if it involves a child).

The degenerates say that somehow the fact that it's not a video of real children being sexually abused excuses the fact that it's still depicting the rape of children for the purpose of sexually arousing the audience.

Only a pedophile is aroused by the idea of a child "having sex" (being raped).

I know for true that the creatures who make it and the creeps who look at it are both regularly found to have been doing (or trying to do) the exact kind of things they saw depicted in their depraved "art" (sexually abusing children).

Real or not, it's still cp, and those who like it are still pedophiles, I doesn't matter even if no one is hurt or if it causes less people to get hurt, the same could be said for "actual" child pornography (after all, it's not like watching it will make the crime happen again, or bring further harm to the victim featured in it), but the fact is that it would do harm to our culture, our society, and to our moral integrity.

Its not just about "reduction of harm" or "freedom of speech", they should know there's more to things than that, but they can't because they are retarded autistic (wo)manchildren with one of, if not the most, depraved of fetishes, which they are apparently obsessed with to an especially unhealthy degree, a clear sign that they should not be permitted to have the things they desire.

Also, pedophiles are in aggregate really horrible abs mentalky unwell people, even ignoring their sexual arousal in response to children (of their preferred sex and age group) and resultant desire to fuck (molest) them, and they "enjoy" cp very much in both real and drawn form.

As they are terrible human beings (as unpleasant as it is to refer to the likes of them as "human", placing them in the same species as I), they do not deserve to be able to have things which they like.

What they deserve, is to be killed in a slow, cruel, public, and painful manner, or, of that not be an acceptable option, to be made pariahs who are marked, shunned, and avoided for the rest of their lives.

I'm well aware. Even if talk.lol wasn't bitter towards Poal, disagreeing on loli will keep us apart.

There was a lot of pedo shit on the old Voat.co. Maybe some of it was fake and somebody's idea of a sick joke, but the 'loli' stuff was real and would turn up if you selected a random sub, even if you had already blocked it. There was also a user who used to post pictures of scantily dressed little girls in inappropriate poses. I had to block a lot of degenerate stuff on Voat that doesn't even appear on the new page on Poal. That said, Voat was more active in terms of news, commentary, and other interests.

All I can say is if I were running a discussion board I wouldn't allow it to be polluted with CP, drawn or photographed, legal or otherwise. Free speech doesn't mean you allow off topic anything, or you'd have to allow spam, too.

At the same time, as long as you can find the discussion, I'm not going to boycott talk.lol because they also host CP boards.

Thanks for saving me the trouble of having to type the exact same thing.

When I browse, I split my time between Poal and Voat. I was on Voat for years until it disappeared, for about a year. I transferred to Ruqqus for a year until they banned a bunch of ‘hate’ threads I enjoyed. I left along with many others when they cracked down on ‘free speech, and then Ruqqus tanked. That policy killed them. Ruckus also hated on Poal and vice versa. Then Voat came back and I started going there again. Poal and Voat felt like they had the same clientele for awhile. You’ll get called a niggerfaggot on both sites. I like that. Poal feels like it’s slipping towards Reddit territory.

People are tribal, they make up enemies.

Competition is fierce for the refugees of Reddit, Ruqqus, and eventually Saidit....even though there are quite enough to go around...neither site likes to share. I'm on Poal, Voat, 8kun, and trying Den.social (without much success). Only a fool puts all the eggs in one basket. I cultivate a presence wherever I can, that is not overrun with leftist-libtards.

[–] 0 pt

since when did VOAT make a comeback?

[–] 0 pt

It was voat.xyz, not .co.

[–] 2 pts

It was also .co for a bit. I think.

[–] 6 pts (edited )

voat.co and voat.xyz are unrelated save the name and a former .co user who started the new site. talk.lol is it's official name, and the plan (as I remember) was to simply use the voat name as an attract for former .co users, then change the name.

Voat.co shut down on christmas of last year. The exodus and subsequent whining of former users who showed up here was an exquisite treat.

Many of the .co users that migrated to here, then to .xyz when it opened were mad they lost their little empires and couldn't insert themselves into this place easily.

I had the misfortune of migrating to both voat and poal. Both were skin thickening experiences. But I’m a tough old bird who wanted truth. So I lurked, sucked it up, and stuck it out.

Looked at voat.xyz when I first heard about it. Doesn’t compare favorably to either poal or voat.

[–] 1 pt

Voat.co had a really good run and there were some outstanding discussions on there. That said, I do miss it a bit but not any more than any of the old websites which have entered the dustbin of history.

[–] 0 pt

It was co.

[–] 4 pts

.co and .xyz were never the same site.

[–] 0 pt

Voat.co was the original one the commies got tanked, like they did 8chan. Voat xyz is the resurrected version, as is 8kun.

[–] 0 pt

I'm aware of the distinction and was telling OP.
