It didn't collapse onto itself, it fell INTO a hole. The leaky pool washed out the ground from under the building.

This is a strawman argument. No one ever claimed that, you invented that argument just to argue against it. So stupid. All sinkholes are created over a long period of time. They don't happen at the collapse event.
