According to Wikipedia, Kwaanza was made up by an American whose name is Maulana "Ron" Karenga, and first 'celebrated' in 1966. Amazingly, people seem to have been fooled into believing that it is actually a traditional holiday in Africa. Quite laughable. Kamala's claim to have always honored the deep traditions of Kwaanza during her childhood is undoubtedly complete bullshit: --and besides that her parents are Indian and Jamaican. wtf
