I think many already realize it, but their egos will prevent a full admission. They can't admit to being wrong, being scared, being weak, being complicit, being assholes, etc...it would shatter their already(clearly) fragile sense of identity.

The only thing I can think of that would get them to shake this off, is hitting rock bottom, and identifying this as the cause of them hitting rock bottom. At that point, they may be able to admit these things to themselves, and eventually others.

But, it's hard to hit rock bottom unless you're socially isolated, and these people are a fucking cult...they feel empowered, being surrounded by the masses that make them feel so comfortable living in denial. They're never alone. They have each other, they have the MSM, they have Fauci.

I do notice some ardent liberal types at least question the Covid bullshit and even some mainstream narratives when the truth hits them in the face. The Rittenhouse trial was one example, also the New lockdowns for the Moronic variant. Less people are trusting the government and media, that's a start.

I voted for, "When they can't afford a loaf of bread!" but I recall a quote by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn talking about a father whom continued to defend communism in the gulags as he feed his children his shoes. There are many misattributed quotes linked to Solzhenitsyn so I don't know from what book. I think people are too comfortable right now as it pertains to money. 6 of my neighbors purchased 2nd and 3rd cars this year. As soon as the money runs out everywhere it will be too late but according Aleksandr it won't make any difference.

Money quickly becomes worthless in a SHTF scenario. I just wish I were really good at sniffing hyper-inflation right before it happens. I'd dump everything: savings, bank accounts, credit-cards, lines of credit: all of it, on BTC. Keep in mind: in this scenario, I've already stocked-up on prepper supplies by the time IT'S HAPPENING™. Walk-away from currency and trade/barter what real-world assets I've built up. Cross my fingers and hope that once shit stabilizes, people still use BTC in parts of the world that didn't get stone-age'd.

Talked to an old buddy of mine recently, from high school days... His wife just miscarried. He's doing all he can to dance around the obvious answer. He knows, he just won't say it. He may say it one day, but not for a long time

Wife had several people die on her while on clot treatment drips this week.... None of them said anything
