I'm thinking of purchasing a laser bore sight. Preferably universal. I know nothing about them. Any of you have experience with them? Are they worth the money? How accurate are they? What's a decent brand without overspending?

I have used two kinds. I have a .223 cartridge-shaped laser and I've borrowed a universal laser that expands once you slide it down the muzzle. I can't remember either brand name but they were cheap. Both got me on paper and grouping less than an inch off bullseye at 50yd.

Same, I have a .223, 22lr, 9mm and .308 and they are cheap enough. Random brass colored ones from Amazon. 22lr and 9mm aren't worth it unless you are zeroing pistol optics though.
