Exactly, if I can't find out who it is I don't want to be tracked. Like who is that? Can we make a request to find out? Or is it none of our business who follows us.

if you go to the home screen and click PIF in the top left corner, posts by people you follow, it will show posts by them. Then click their names and see if they follow you.

Check the sidebar, maybe turn your phone sideways to reveal it.

Just to note, you cannot see the names of the accounts of those who are following you, only the number of accounts that are following you. (unless that ability does exist and is locked behind some super level perk like some other very useful abilities I've seen mentioned are)
