They most certainly contain a DRM protection.

You might wanna check that first.

Yes, so I assume the output from a DVR/Cable Box has HDCP broadcast flag set. Might be hard to go around that. I'm wondering if there's a way to D/L from the DVR itself. Of course they might encrypt the videos on there, but maybe there's a way to decrypt them?

Agreed.

OP should search/check if someone successfully did it before wasting their time.

I have wondered this for AT&T (DirecTV stream) myself. Anyone got links for AT&T?

Replying to myself, but I just remembered/realized I can watch DirecTV "recordings" from the web. Presumably I can just screencap as video.

Ed: Recording Brave using Nvidia Geforce Experience worked. Other combinations I tried did not. YMMV

Maybe you fags will get clips from me :)

What's the easiest (free) way to crop a video in Windows?

I tried asking the fags at Reddit and they wouldn't even allow the question. I have been researching this all day and can't find a fucking solution.

There is no way. You could do something if you had a cablecard hdhomerun. Or just let someone else do the work for you, and download it.
