Cause she doesn't want to be dragged through the mud like every other republican. As long as you stay democrat, you can even display a little bit of antisemitism without the fear of getting your entire life wrecked. I'd never run as a republican myself. It's better to infiltrate the enemy, and then you could push for fiscal conservatism at least. This would be more effective than being another useless kosherservative in the republican party.
