An easy way to find out is to determine your ACE (Adverse Childhood Experience) score. There are a ton of websites that have the ten point questionaire posted, and the phrasing is more or less the same on most of them: https://americanspcc.org/take-the-aces-quiz/ It only takes a minute or so and will give you a good sense of if you had significant problems in your childhood that are likely to lead to major challenges as an adult. It also allows you to be aware of things that seemed "normal" to you that are completely unacceptable when raising your own kids.
