An easy way to find out is to determine your ACE (Adverse Childhood Experience) score. There are a ton of websites that have the ten point questionaire posted, and the phrasing is more or less the same on most of them: https://americanspcc.org/take-the-aces-quiz/
It only takes a minute or so and will give you a good sense of if you had significant problems in your childhood that are likely to lead to major challenges as an adult. It also allows you to be aware of things that seemed "normal" to you that are completely unacceptable when raising your own kids.
I’m going to teach my kids how to correctly gut a cat
Well there's more than one way..
The key is to enjoy it
I'd recommend a deer. It's a useful skill and isn't going to get you arrested for animal cruelty.
Cats kill way more animals and cause way more problems than deer do. The worse deer will do is give you free food and a call to your insurance company
fuck all. I get 9/10 on that test if I answer them all honestly.
It's disheartening at first, but it also allows you to understand why some of your challenges exist and how you weren't responsible for creating them. Much the way that if someone sicced a pitbull on you when you were five, being nervous around dogs doesn't mean you're a coward, it means some psychopath used one to traumatize you.
It also provides you a strong incentive to be a better parent than what you had and provides an example of what not to do and why.
5 Guess that explains the depression. The fucking jews subverting our country and genociding my race doesn't help any
