I'm curious if anyone knows anything that you wouldn't hear from a mainstream doctor.

It's the slow kind (not aggressive) and stage 1. They only want to take out part of the thyroid as treatment.

Both people I know - one male and one female around 60 when diagnosed had radioactive iodine treatment. Both are fine living in their early 70s.
