I'm curious if anyone knows anything that you wouldn't hear from a mainstream doctor.

It's the slow kind (not aggressive) and stage 1. They only want to take out part of the thyroid as treatment.

Just to add that alternative medicine doesn't exclude following the usual medicine. You can complement any surgery with a better lifestyle and get the best from both kinds of medicine.
