It is bullshit . . . nothing changes. The court was between a rock and a hard place. If they vote that abortions are illegal they piss off Libtards and potentially get canceled. If they vote that abortions can happen because it's my body so it's my choice they give us legal precedence to fight mandates.
Generally, a case has to pass the procedural hurdles the legal system has implemented before a court hears the merits of the case itself. That is what the ruling today was about. All the Supreme Court said is that the case passes the procedural hurdles. Meaning a lower court can hear the merits of the case. The ruling today does not mean that the challenge to the Texas Abortion law will win, just that a court can hear it.
In my opinion, Justice Thomas is correct. Because nobody has actually been sued under the abortion law...yet, the entire case should have been tossed until somebody actually was sued.
Having said all that, everybody is waiting for the Supreme Court to hand down its ruling in the Mississippi abortion case. If the court completely overturns Roe v. Wade, then the Mississippi and Texas laws will stand. The ruling from today would be moot because the legal standing that the challengers are currently using would cease to exist. At this point, I would be surprised if the court let Roe stand unaltered. The other option is to limit Roe further. Basically, still allowing abortion, but limiting the time frame in which it can take place.
Abortion is a multi-billion dollar industry that is integral to an even larger industry- big pharma and cosmetics. They'll never blitz Roe v Wade for this reason alone. Plus, it would give the left the leverage to pack the court. People have really no idea just how destructive abortion is to humanity as a whole.
Around here, I mostly see praise for it because it kills people that poal users don't value. Not exactly how I would derive morality.

Nope. Many of us have an entirely different problem with abortion, contrary to the "muh blacks will be gone, good riddance!" crap that gets spouted by federal contractors and israelis larping as caucasians and americans.
Many of us our essential problem with abortion is that abortion isn't abortion.
Abortion is murder.
If this wasn't the bulk of our objections, then you'd see an ideological, religious, or race war, because by that logic we'd be fine with murder.
And we're definitely not.
Which is why the u.s. government and western governments have been allowed to continue to live at all, despite the myriad crimes they've committed, and encouraged ("firery but mostly peaceful protest", "soldiers, you know what to do" by that one scumbag, media encouraging violence against us for our race, politics, or faith, eric swalwell threatening americans with use of the militart, etc), all of which, in sane country, would be immediately punished with death, either judicial, or failing that, extrajudicial.
But you don't see that because we're in fact against violence.
And that includes abortion.
Thankfully, most of us are patient men.
They are looking for any excuse to pack the court. If they don't get it here, they'll find it somewhere else.
Excellent recap. Mississippi is the key one at the present. Moloch commands more and more child sacrifices from the evil ones. That is what really drives their psychosis with abortion. The rest is just propaganda to get what they want.
They kicked the can down the road. They elected not to review the Xiden admin's case and killed it probably to avoid the separation of powers issues. They invited private companies to sue if they wished on some other basis (consolation for dems) to get rid of the DOJ executive branch powers issues.
I found out what actually happened from the Atlantic of all places. Pre-emptive Lawsuits can go ahead against unnamed Texas enforcement officials, who would be responsible for enforcing any judgements against the abortionist plaintiffs. Case remanded to lower court who will surely grant an injunction nullifying Texas law.
Basically they can sue over their right to muh abortion, but if you think an election was stolen, fuck you, no standing.
Also fuck the Supreme Court. No one cares about your legal sophistry. The SC created the right to abortion out of whole cloth, and it should be up to them to undo that. This who has standing, sending it back to a lower court bullshit is an excuse not to do their job. They could do it in a heartbeat. Every single Republican-appointed justice was asked about this during their nomination process. One of them has been a fucking traitor, and the rest have been hesitant to do the main thing the people indirectly elected them to do. Fuck you for thinking you're above it.
