Maybe I'm stupid, but I can't understand what's the big deal about concealed carry of guns. I don't want to show that I have gun. It's just a matter of privacy for me. I don't want to be assaulted from behind by somebody who is trying to steal my gun. Also don't want to look like an idiot who is showing everyone his gun. I don't see what's the difference between open carry and concealed carry in terms of public safety. So why concealed carry is illegal in some states?

Two reasons:

1) NPCs are scared of guns due to ignorance and stupidity. CC avoids spooking NPCs.

2) Many municipalities, businesses, etc restrict OC as a none-too-subtle attack on the 2A. Since CC often requires permits, they're trying to make it harder to exercise your 2A rights.

Which is unfortunate because OC is a great IQ test. Anyone who's scared is an idiot. Anyone who responds the same way to OC as a cool new tool on someone's work belt is high IQ (Hey, is that the new Gen 5 G17? How do you like it compared to the Gen4?)
