Not bashing women here but I am curious. Do women ever do serious self relfecting like men? I catch myself from time to time wanting to become a better man. Read books about our fore fathers and find ways to improve myself. Not just from a physical stand point but my behavior and mannerisms. Do women do the same thing?

I do but I'm in a minority. My job as a woman and a wife is to be the strongest I can be, both mentally and physically. To be degenerate and disgusting is an insult against myself, my family, and my marriage.

^ This is so well said, exactly how I feel too.

How does it feel when you're around d women who are not self-reflective? Do they pick up on you using yiur brain more than. They do?

As I said to someone else, I tend to avoid any social situations where other women are present, just simply because I cannot stand the copious amounts of garbage that spews out of their vapid mouths. I'm sort of viewed as an outcast by these types because I don't subscribe to their rubbish - which works just fine for me.

how do you relate to other women in your life / field?

[–] 3 pts

I don't for the most part. My immediate family who are women are similar to myself. Outside of my family? I can't stand the pointless, vapid crap that comes out of their mouths 99.9% of the time. I quite bluntly do not give a single fuck about the latest gossip, reality tv/media/celebrity nonsense or "popular culture" garbage. It's why the majority of my friends are men, to be honest.

Absolutely.

I was hoping to hear from a girl. Thank you!

I always forget there are women on Poal. Most likely projection, I just assume everyone is a single, white American male between 30 and 50 here.

Women aren't men. Don't look for men in women. Self-reflection is not common among women. There's a reason there's such a dearth in female philosophers compared to males and even they tend to warp that intellectual field as they do virtually all things they deign to inject themselves into.

Women have a parallel thought process to our self-reflection, in which they also reflect upon our many "male flaws" and how we can improve them. But any bad stuff is definitely never their fault at all, they're always victimized and innocent and how dare we brutes question their perfection.

I think that they reflect more on how they can change their men.

^ 30yo woman here. Yes, yes we do. Unfortunately, I think the percentage is very low. I've met quite a few psycho bitches in my time, including one that stalked my husband for 5+ years (the police are still involved and she has been charged multiple times). I think a lot of women have been... infected... with this "feminism" and "equality" bullshit and fail to see what makes us valuable - to the opposite sex and to ourselves. Very few stop to realize that something is wrong.

[–] 2 pts

Yes. I do at least. Other women might not, but they are probably dumb bitches anyway.

[–] 1 pt

.01% of them, yes.

There are no women on the internet. You can't possibly be this new. That aside, I'm pretty much positive you can't find avenues for self-improvement or elevated pursuits on TikTok or Twitter. I'm certain it's impossible on Reddit.

I do this periodically to re-center myself if I feel like I'm too far off of my personal path. This is something I've done for many years now. Very effective for personal growth.

I’m caught between trying to better myself and thinking of the best way to off a lot of people in one go

Those two can't be the same thing?
