Addressing the JQ is one of many tasks we have in this war. Arguably the most important one, but if JP is reaching a large audience around ideas that push back other areas of leftism and leaving this task to others then he's still an asset and an ally.
Note he didn't dispute any of the question, he expressed nonverbally this is difficult, gave himself the bare minimum of plausable deniability on the topic, and simply said "I can't" He was actually very careful not to openly discredit the asker.
