I'd make a trip through Prague, Budapest and Bucharest. All three were beautiful cities. All three connected by short train rides. All three were great places to spend a few days and see some excellent historical sights.

You can get these packages that schedule all 3 cities in a compressed or extended timeline for you. Well... You could I dont know of they are still doing it. I had one that got me 4 or 5 days in each of those cities with small travel time between and to from all included in the price.

I am a bit sad i didnt get to Poland and Austria.

But with Austria the way it is now. Thats over...

I've given up on traveling to Western Europe until they (hopefully) come to their senses and massively collectivize to retake their countries.

That's because you're going to their tourist traps, which are all shit. If you go to places in Western Europe which aren't the shitty tourist traps they give a more accurate representation of what a country and it's culture is like.
