Looks like I'm too damn stupid to use the search function correctly. When I try multiple words, there's often no hits when I think there should be.

Is there a doc on how to use search for more than just a simple word? (I looked, but apparently I suck at that, too)

I wanted to search for Kamala Harris' miraculous transformation from dot-nigger to plain nigger.

kamala harris returns posts with those two words in the title when they're in that order. Case insensitive.

harris black harris indian Both return no posts. Either there are none, I'm doing it wrong or the search algo can't deal with such requests.

kamala billboard Kamala Billboard Both return no posts, although I made sure these words exist in a post title. (From search results of the first search.)

It searches for those exact phrases in titles. It's not like a typical search engine where it looks for any of those words anywhere in a title.

Thanks, that's what I figured. Was hoping for something like wildcards, quoting or using boolean directives like AND and OR.

Maybe can clarify.

The current search is pretty dumb. I've been working on a new search engine for quite some time, but things got in the way.

Please be patient, it's closing the top of the todo list.
