no, I don't think so... I think the transfer agreement is just another name for the Haavara accord. from my rather poor memory, the Transfer/Haavara agreement was enacted about 6-8 years before the start of World War Two. and in fact continued for the first two years of the war. some 60,000+ Jews were allowed to migrate (they were even paid!) from Germany. I think there was a similar agreement for Jews from other countries. (called something else. thats the one I can't remember the name!)

not sure. I read through the holocaust handbook series a while ago. the details I have long since forgotten. (so pardon me being so vague)

I think about 200,000 jews migrated to Palestine during this period, from all over Europe (mostly)...

Yeah, I was thinking Transfer = Haavara too, but I was just thinking maybe you were pointing to that.
