Still trying to decide on this one. usually heartburn is in the lower portion of the heart, towards the stomach. right now i have a stinging pain, although mild in the upper aortic wall, towards the upper vena cava, some mild angina on the right side of the heart, and chest tightness on the right side as well. i can't quit make out what it is though, because it hasn't killed me yet, or caused any discomfort. i don't have tachycardia or anything, and no arrhythmias can be felt. some mild radial jaw pain, and some mild discomfort in my right arm. not pain in the right arm, feels more like a neuropathy or something, like paralysis or something.

Just checked, ox is good at 95, and heart rate is in the low 90s

Take a tums, fart, go to sleep.

If you're dead in the morning, it wasn't heartburn.

OP, please reply back with the answer if you wake up dead in the morning so we can settle this.

I have pepto bismol, still waiting to see if it does anything. So far, nothing

Sodium bicarbonate for the win.

If you're really concerned that it's a heart attack, then you need to bite the bullet and see a doctor.

Typically a heart attack (for males) will result in left-side pain. Females can have pain on both sides of the body. YMMV, I am not a doctor or a lawyer, I don't even play one on TV, batteries not included, void where prohibited, no cash value, offer expires January 12th, 1978.

If you die can I have your computer?

Are you 'at risk' for a heart attack? (High BP, obese, history of heart issues, etc.) If you are ... well that might impact your decision.

Could also be a pulled chest muscle. Did you lift anything heavy with your left arm today?

Try playing a game of soccer, and call me in the morning.

What is actual height, weight, and age OP. That variable would be nice too. For all we know you could be just getting old-er-er-er.

You can feel your upper aortic wall?

I've been having pains for years. I found that while I thought it was a heart issue, it seems to feel better when I burp(forced), idk but my burper seems clogged. And recently a rib shifted and started to push in on the same spot.

Have a cigarette

Doctors always say it's heartburn from pure laziness. I have a damaged ticker...2 valves leak. Undiagnosed heart problems can cause a stroke like what happened to me. Don't rely on the ER that's a nightmare of ignorance unless you are lucky to have a cardio doc doing rounds; they won't do anything. Last moron that said "It's heartburn. You aren't dying. Why are you here?" got a piece of my mind."That's interesting since I have no gall bladder so the amount of acid in my gut is moot. Read the chart. I have a history of heart valve issues and stroke. Why do you think my heart doc prescribed nitro pills? You must have skipped that class where they teach doctors to talk to patients...oh wait...there isn't one."

Just talked to doctor, said it was probably nothing and to not worry too much about it
