Do I need to release the knuter valve pressure first before draining the blinker fluid?

The Dude is changing a seal, not opening one this time. Things gonna get real up in that heated garage, mishak and abendigo style. Only 66.6 degrees outside, gotta wear socks with the sandals. Chilly.
