I just got my dog trained, he's one of those working breeds who requires constant attention and work. if he lived on a farm or a large area, it would be fine. but the enclosed space is driving him nuts. i was thinking of rehoming him, and having a farmer or rancher take him (if anyone here is interested, they can pm me). if that doesn't work, i may just put him down or something. i don't want to, but he needs space and land, and i can't provide him what he needs. he's not aggressive or anything, i just don't know what to do

Don't kill him just because you misjudged the breed/space/energy levels. No-kill shelters are also an option.

Use better judgement next time. Dont be a nigger and kill it just cause you made a bad decision. Do the white thing and rehome

Added a link to rescue dogs if anyone wants him

What kind of dog? There are tons of rescues out there. Many, many people foster dogs and either end up being foster failures and keeping the dog, or fostering them until someone adopts. There are also many "breed rescue" groups.

working breed

What kind?

Carolina Dingo, he's a very good shepherd dog, and he can do tracking if trained properly. He did all the training for basic commands so he knows sit, stay, rollover, staying on command, staying off leash, point and go, etc

Not my cup of tea. I hope you find a decent home for him.

There are many really, really good shepherd rescues available for just this kind of thing.

Hopefully no vet would agree to euthanize a perfectly healthy dog.

Please never get any dogs again if you think that killing a healthy, non-terminally sick dog is somehow an option for anyone with a basic sense of morals.

Return him to the people you got him from or, if you have a Facebook account, join some of the local pet re-homing groups in the area and find someone who wants him. Make sure to charge a re-homing fee of at least $50 in order to avoid giving him to someone who will abuse him or put him into a dog-fighting ring. Although since you seem to have no morals yourself, so I think you'll probably just give him to the first sociopath that says they'll take him.

You make me sick, frankly. I can't even continue writing this comment to your post. Please kill yourself so that no one else has to be subjected to your sick sociopathy.

Find the dog a home and then never get a pet again.

I've got a working dog. Know what I do? I walk him, take him places he can run, and give him puzzle toys to give him a job. I also don't euthanize him because he's inconvenient.

I read below it's a carolina dingo. You should start working with the dog! Multiple walks a day, 2 ball fetch, tug, and obedience. Teach him the names of individual toys to retrieve. If all that fails, yes rehome the dog. The breeder probably wants the dog back or would help you find a better home for it.

I have a working line Belgian Malinois- my breeder gets a dog back every few months.

If you kill your dog for no reason you should probably take a long walk off a short pier...in Minecraft.
